of course, i AM the person who thinks that skinny jeans indicate the end of the world, and my fat ass would not be caught dead in them. i hate trendy shit, because then you have to figure out when it goes out of style and subsequently remove it from the rotation in your closet and WHO HAS THE ENERGY FOR THAT? goddamn, i barely have the energy to make sure that both of my shoes are the same and that i'm actually wearing underwear. also, the farrah fawcett hair? i mean, i know she died and it was tragic and everything, but that does NOT mean that the hairstyle needs to come back, does it? DOES IT? gawd, i'm confused.
and just so you are aware, my folks are coming in for a visit this weekend. they'll be here tonight, actually. those of you who know me personally will know that this is both awesome and awful. those of you who don't know me that well...um, yeah. this could be a lot of fun or it could end up with me curled up in a corner beating my head on the floor. let's hope for option #1, shall we? because this visit coincides with a late birthday party for emerson, so this means that every last one of my in-laws will also be at our little house for this shindig.
cliffhanger...WILL my father ensure that every comment he makes is tinged with anti-obama political statements? oh, we'll just have to wait and see. actually, i think that i'll try to count the number of times he does NOT discuss his hatred for liberals in general. that'll be easier.

If the "if you wore it the first time" rule still applies I am out of this WHOLE fall/ winter fashion. I was visiting Patrick at school today and realized I had worn ALL of the clothes the girls had on (scrunchy flat boots, leggings, and all!) when I was in the 9th grade. And it's all way more expensive than it was the first time around!
I do loathe a skinny jean (b/c they seem to make anyone other than an Olsen twin look so UNskinny). HOWEVER, if ANYONE can pull off some skinny jeans it is YOU, Legs! Wear them w/ a tunic on top. Of course, I'm handing out fashion advice as I sit here w/ dirty hair, in faded black worn out yoga pants that smell like dog slobber, accompanied by a lovely old grey t shirt of Patrick's dad's. Oh, and my accessories are a ponytail holder on my wrist and...well, do stains count as an accessory?

I agree with allison, I am way too short for skinny jeans b/c I think the only they look good is with a cute pair of flats and that jsut makes me feel like I am way tooo short and in the 5th grade!
I hope your dad isnt too bad for you .... I am now anti all of it .. both sides are screwing everything up so I am just trying to keep my big mouth shut about all of it b/c the only real answer is for everyone to just calm down and start completely over.
I have no business wearing skinny jeans either. They look cute on tiny people and that's really it. Baylor Homecoming is this weekend. I'm not going, but it really makes me long for a reunion with our BUT gang!
